Shinshin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho Shoden

REIKI TRAINING

A Shoden 初傳 level training course is the first step into the Shinshin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho system as taught by Usui Sensei.

Rather than a modern reinterpretation, our Shoden training course preserves the cultural roots, mindset, and practical techniques of early Reiki practitioners.

Students learn how Reiki was originally understood in Japan, receive Reiju (the traditional method of connecting to Reiki), and practice the core treatment methods that form the heart of Usui Reiki Ryoho.

Shoden level teachings focus on simplicity, hands-on practice, and understanding how Reiki supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and well-being.

Prerequisites for this training

As Shoden is the first level of training within Shinshin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho, there are no prerequisites and no previous experience is required. All we ask is that you arrive with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a sincere desire to practice.

Although this training is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience, all students are required to begin with the Shoden level training course. This ensures that the teachings are preserved and transmitted in the traditional manner in which they are practiced within our lineage.

Shoden training courses are typically offered four times each year, providing students with regular opportunities to begin their Reiki journey.
